How it works
Three steps to a working client portal.
Most of the setup is a branding screen and a spreadsheet import. After that, your clients sign in to a portal with your name on it.
-
Make it yours
A firm admin adds your logo and colors in the firm console. Your portal is ready at yourfirm.fairpointlaw.com, and the sign-in page carries your brand too.
- Upload a logo and pick your colors
- Set weekly hours for client calls
- Invite your attorneys and staff
-
Bring your docket
Import your trademark spreadsheet from a CSV file, or add matters one at a time. You see a preview before anything is saved.
- Stage trackers fill in from the dates you enter
- Maintenance and renewal deadlines appear with citations
- Attorneys can adjust a date and record why
-
Invite clients
Each client gets an invitation and sets up a passkey, or a password plus a second factor. Clients see only their own portfolio.
- Release documents when you are ready
- Ask for decisions with a due date
- Client owners can invite their own colleagues
Who does what
Each person sees only what their role allows.
Roles come from the way IP practices already work. A paralegal can prepare an update, and an attorney decides when the client sees it.
Your firm
- Firm admins
- Set the brand, manage your team and work on any client.
