Security and confidentiality
Built to keep client confidences confidential.
Attorney-client communication deserves more than a password. Confidentiality shaped the design from the first decision, not as a later add-on.
-
Passkeys and required two-factor
Staff and clients sign in with a passkey, or a password plus a second factor. Auth0 provides the sign-in service, so passwords never pass through the portal itself.
-
A separate database for every firm
Each firm's records live in their own Cloudflare database. One firm's data is never stored next to another firm's.
-
Least privilege by design
Clients see only their own matters. Outside collaborators see only the matter shared with them. Billing staff do not open matter files.
-
Sealed files for trade secrets
A sealed tier keeps trade secret documents to the people named on them. AI assistant keys can never read sealed material.
-
Tamper-evident audit log
Every change and every privileged access is recorded in a hash-chained log. You can verify the chain and export it.
-
Account self-service
People can see where they are signed in, review sign-in activity, manage their factors and sign out everywhere.
Plain talk about early access
What early access means for your data.
Fair Point Law is new software from GovSoft, LLC. The controls on this page are in place today. Independent audits and certifications have not been completed yet, and we will say so plainly if a firm asks.
If something changes that affects how your data is stored or who can see it, we will tell you before it happens.
Have a security questionnaire for us?
Request early access and mention it in your note. We will answer it during your setup call.
